Growing up as the third child of seven I learned responsibilities and work habits early in life. I will never forget at the age of 11 riding my bike on the hot summer days selling Christmas cards so I could earn the points to win a string-controlled flying airplane. During the seven years I worked for Ford Motor Company in my hometown of Monroe MI, I learned excellent management skills. The next step of my career was ownership of a weight control franchise. Finally, I settled into specialized construction with the company I opened in 1984 in Fort Wayne, IN. After growing that company for a little over 20 years, I sold it to a neighboring contractor, and it continues to prosper today with two of the original employees I hired.

My family vacationed in the Keys quite a bit when I was young. The shear beauty of this chain of tropical islands has always fascinated me along with the vast array of water activities we can enjoy year round. After purchasing a vacation home in Key Colony Beach, I knew instantly I had to live here. It took two years to restructure our responsibilities in Indiana before we could become full time Keys residents. It is actually funny that I am a Broker with my own real estate company because in my construction days I was often annoyed by some of the pushy Realtors. I fully understand customer service, construction and leadership and always strive to do what is in the best interest of our customer. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors in Psychology and spent ten successful years in an international corporate environment where I attained outstanding awards in sales, marketing and customer service. Then I moved to Paradise where I am now involved in the mortgage and real estate industry. Marathon is very special to me. It is a wonderful, tight-knit community on a chain of beautiful, tropical islands. Marathon has been my home for ten years and I am very proud to be among its residents.
